I put off buying this for a while thinking I'd wait for paperback, but eventually I had to admit I really wanted to read it (esp once I saw it was only about 200pp long). A state of the nation novel. A novel about covid, climate change, brexit, social media & AI that never mentions any of those things. (Actually, covid is briefly mentioned)
